With an emphasis on intentional deep breathing, I teach yoga as a moving meditation in order to help students connect internally toward self empowerment and optimal health. Meditation, nutrition and anatomy are incorporated in my teaching for a holistic yoga experience. Through my background in medicinal herbology, nutrition, Prenatal and Kemetic yoga, I specialize in the wellness of black women during their child rearing years. From the various hormonal, nutritional, emotional and physical shifts, I assist women with rebalancing their inner and outer selves toward a holistically healthy lifestyle. “Self-care is so important. When you take time to replenish your mind, body and spirit, it allows you to serve others from the overflow. Self-care is not selfish. You cannot serve from an empty vessel."
